Southern Oregon Roller Derby, SORD, skates at Roller Odyssey in Medford, Oregon on the third Saturday of every month. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and skating starts at 6:30 PM. Come join the hard-hitting excitement as this local league of ladies, sisters, daughters, girlfriends, wives and mothers have a blast battling it out on the oval track! SORD is developing four teams: The Queens, the Ladies In Waiting, the Matriarchs and the Princesses who scrimmage with each other. We welcome teams from other areas too! In July, we played the Renegade RollerGirls of Oregon and members of the original Renegade RollerGirls league in Bend. Renegade Roller Derby is no-holds-barred with no penalties. Renegades will play any style, any rules (or no rules at all) and on any skateable surface. The Renegades and SORD played by a set of rules modified for the July event.
